A plane crashed into a resident neighborhood in a northern Illinois city on Thursday, torching the side of a home and leaving parts scattered in a street, the Daily Mail reported.
Joliet Fire Captain Jeff Allbert said crews are responding to the crash, assessing the scene and putting out a fire.
The captain said it was unclear whether the plane hit any structures or vehicles.
The department is investigating the crash, but didn't provide further details.
