Russian aviation security delegation leaves Cairo

A Russian aviation security delegation left Cairo for Rome late Thursday after inspecting security measures at Cairo International Airport.

The delegation arrived in Cairo Monday to inspect the Cairo airport security measures in line with a cooperation agreement signed between both countries in the field of air transport.

It also came ahead of resumption of Cairo-Moscow flights within the coming weeks.

The delegation hailed the security measures and developments at the airport, sources said.

The Cairo-Moscow flights were suspended on the back of the Russian plane crash in October in Sharm el Sheikh that left all 224 passengers on board dead.
