British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport Lord Tarik Ahmad arrived in Cairo on a three-day visit to Egypt to discuss means to boost cooperation between Cairo and London.
The British official is scheduled to meet with a number of officials on ways of promoting cooperation between Egypt and Britain in the transport fields as well as preparations for securing the airports in Egypt to resume flights to the Red Sea resorts.
Britain has suspended flights to Egypt in the wake of a Russian plane crash in Sinai on October 31 after takeoff from Sharm el Sheikh airport.
