The Tunisian National Railways Company (SNCFT) has resumed since March 19 the transformation of phosphate from Redeyef after a stoppage of over 20 months, the Ministry of Transport announced Thursday. The transport of the considerable stock of phosphate available in Redeyef, one of the major production sites of the mine basin in Gafsa (Southwest), should allow SNCFT to strengthen its activities, the ministry said in a statement.
