Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour left Khartoum on Friday for Cairo, leading a high profile delegation on a two-day visit to Egypt.
During his visit, Ghandour will have talks with Foreign Minister Sameh Skoukry on ways of boosting bilateral ties as well as a number of Arab and regional issues of common concern.
The two top diplomats will also discuss preparations for the Higher Egyptian-Sudanese Joint Committee meeting.
The Sudanese official is scheduled to take part in an Arab foreign ministers meeting in the Arab League on Sunday.
