Sharm el-Sheikh resorts

Member of the South Sinai Investors Association Atef Abdel Latif said that tourism in Sharm el Sheikh and other parts of the governorate has not so far been affected by the crash of the Russian plane on Saturday.

In press statements, Abdel Latif said that South Sinai governor and officials from the governorate accompanied by tourism investors visited Nuweiba, Taba, Sharm el Sheikh and Saint Catherine.

The tourists spend their time as usual, he said.

He said that the Russian tourism represents 35% the volume of tourism in Egypt.

Abdel Latif said that until now, there were no trip cancellations after the plane crash.
