A technical failure that caused power outage at Cairo Airport control tower on Saturday was fixed in two hours, the head of the National Air Navigation Services Company (NANSC) said.

In a NANSC statement on Sunday, Ehab Mohy said traffic at the airport was not affected by the technical failure as a substitute control tower was used during these two hours.
