The Italian authorities will re-impose temporary border controls on Schengen borders from 10 to 30 May 2017 on the occasion of the G-7 Summit due to be held in Taormina, Italy, on May 26- 27, an official source at the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday. 
The source warned Qatari nationals and their companions who intend to travel to Italy or from Italy during this period to take into account the potential delays, requiring them to keep their passports with them.
