An EU official has expected Tripoli airport to reopen within two weeks. Augustino Mozio, head of crisis management, said at the end of a five-day mission to Libya Tuesday that he was aware of arrangements made by the new authorities in Libya to reoperate vital services including Tripoli airport. The border between Libya and Tunisia was now open for travellers, he added. He said fighting has left a shortage of running water and a lack of medical supplies. The continued presence of armed men also posed a security problem, he added.
