UK flights to Egypt's Red Sea resort of Hurghada are still going on even after Friday's terror attack on Hurghada luxurious hotel Bella Vista, The Independent reported on Sunday .

The British Foreign Office (FCO) said "We are aware of an incident that took place at the Bella Vista Hotel on Sheraton Road in Hurghada, Egypt on January 8 in which a small number of foreign tourists were injured. British Nationals are advised to stay alert and follow the advice of the local authorities."

Over 900,000 British nationals visit Egypt every year. Most visits are trouble-free.

Regular flights to and from the UK to Sharm el Sheikh were suspended on November 4 on the back of a Russian plane crash in Sharm el Sheikh.
