UK Trade Envoy to Egypt Jeffrey Donaldson will arrive here on Saturday to discuss investment and trade opportunities.

Accompanied by a trade delegation of British business community representatives, Donaldson is planned to meet with Egyptian top officials.

He is expected to hold meetings with Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil and Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker.

The British delegation will discuss investment opportunities in the Canal region in a meeting with Ahmed Darwish, chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal's Economic Zone (SCZone).

Donaldson is also planned to meet with Presidential Aide for National and Strategic Projects Ibrahim Mahlab.

The UK delegation will pay visits to Cairo, Alexandria and Port Said.
