A delegation from the US Department of Transportation inspected on Tuesday security measures on EgyptAir's New York-bound flights.

The delegation is on a four-day visit to inspect the security measures at Cairo International Airport, air service area and the goods village.

The delegation, comprising four senior security experts, inspected the measures of securing passengers, planes, meals and goods on the flights bound for New York, head of EgyptAir's security sector Tarek Zaki said in statements.
