Los Angeles International Airport

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said "Reports of a shooting incident at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) have been proven to be loud noises only".
Police responded to multiple 911 calls from many locations at the airport about a potential armed suspect, but they did not find any evidence of a gunman, a shooting or anyone who is injured, (NBC News) reported.
A spokesperson for LAX said Terminals 1,2,3, 5, and the Tom Bradley International Terminal were cleared by police and passengers were being allowed back inside for re-screening.
At Terminals 4, 6, 7 and 8, police K-9 units were still working to clear the buildings before passengers were allowed back inside.
Normal operations had resumed after a temporary stop because of the flow of passengers into restricted areas, including the runway.
