Yemen’s army

Yemen’s army managed to restore the road linking between Hega and Medi to cut the roads of supplies through which the Houthi militias receive the military aids. Meanwhile, the Arab Coalition bombarded the sites of the insurgents in Sada, leading to the killing and injury of 31 elements loyal to the militias in addition to the killing of others in different fronts attacked by the coalition’s fighter jets.

Yemen’s Brigadier General Omar Johar said that the Yemeni army managed to cut off military supplies from the militias Entrenched in Medi, as they imposed their control on the road linking between Medi and Hega. He revealed that the insurgent militants suffer from the lack of weapons, stressing that they would be eliminated as soon as possible.

He underlined the violations committed by the militias against the civilians living in the city, saying that they pushed a large number of the residents to leave the city. He added that the Yemeni army achieved notable advance along the western coast. He stressed the army’s keenness to secure these areas from any potential attacks from the insurgents.

In the same context, the Yemeni army clashed with Houthi militias and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh in Sahbu governorate, leading to the killing and injury of a number of militants. According to military sources, the governmental troops managed to kill 20 militants and injured 11 others, including three leading members of the militias.

The Arab Coalition, on its hand, launched a number of air raids targeting the Houthi militants in the western side of Serwah Directorate of Mareb governorate, leading to the killing of a number of elements loyal to the insurgents and the destruction of military equipment.

In Sada, the Arab Coalition resumed its bombardment against the strongholds of the Houthi militias and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh. Local sources revealed that the sites of insurgents have been targeted by the Arab Coalition’s fighter jets in Shada directorate on the borders between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

Engineering units of the Yemeni army resumed cleansing the coasts of Medi Port from the mines planted by the Houthi militias. They managed to find a large number of mines and defused them. Saudi special forces managed to destroy rocket launchers, as they destroyed three launchers and four trucks in addition to the killing of 11 militants.
