In the frame, Abbas Badreddine Beirut – Georges Chahine Hezbollah have appointed Talal Hamieh as their military leader, replacing Abbas Badreddine who is accused by the STL in the assassination case of Rafic Hariri, according to Al Joumhouria newspaper as they say has been published by a European source. Hamieh has apparently been assigned to internal and external secret missions. According to the paper, Hezbollah have taken this step in a bid to make additional changes to itself after four of its members were accused of being involved in the Hariri assassination case. According to the European source, Hamieh, who comes from Baalbek, is considered an expert in the foreign operations he carries out with Hezbollah, and has worked alongside Badreddine and Moghnieh, in addition to the Iranian Minister of Defence Ahmed Vahidi, when he led the guards of the Islamic Revolution.  One of the first missions awaiting Hanieh is the transfer of Hezbollah armory which some of it are stored I Douma and Adra in Damascus, as they are now in risk after the continuous clashes between Assad rebels and loyalists (army). The source pointed out that Hezbollah armed men give substantial help to the Syrian army to help them combat the Syrian revolution. The source believes that Hezbollah will most likely have to take security precautions to protect their leader Hassan Nasrallah, as Hussein Oneissi is the brother of Hassan Oneissi who is responsible for Hezbollah’s security, and many members of their family belong to the military side of Hezbollah.
