UAE residents travelling to the United States for Thanksgiving or to India for Diwali can secure budget-saving airfares.
Dubai-based carrier Emirates announced on Sunday that it has rolled out special ticket prices for travellers who will be heading back home or visiting relatives during the two special occasions.
For residents looking to fly to India for the festival of lights, they can score economy tickets to Mumbai for at least Dh1,205, Delhi for Dh1,265, Hyderabad for Dh1,105 and Ahmedabad for Dh1,165.
Business class fares to the same destinations can cost a little over Dh3,000 to more than Dh4,000.
The carrier will also be serving special treats, including Motichoor Ladoos and Anjeer Chakkar in observance of Diwali aboard their flights from November 7 to November 10, 2018.
Diwali is celebrated by millions of Indians who make up one of the biggest travel markets in the world.
The Asian country is also major destination for travellers from the UAE, with more than 1 million India-bound passengers passing through Dubai International in August alone.
US-bound passengers can secure tickets for just a little over Dh4,000 to Dh5,000. Economy tickets to New York starts at Dh4,685, Los Angeles at Dh5,785, Chicago at Dh5,215 and Dallas at Dh5,385.
Travellers will also be served with tailored menus to celebrate Thanksviging from November 22 to November 25.
Flyers who wish to avail themselves of the special fares can book starting today until October 28, 2018 and travel anytime until April 30, 2019.
