Syrians are seen crossing the border into Lebanon Flights between Damascus and Latakia airport were suspended Wednesday due to the ongoing conflict, as thousands of Syrian residents flee their homes. Activists revealed that over t 16,000 Syrians entered Lebanon within the last 24 hours.
Sources said that the area of Qalamoun, a mountain range in western Syria, north of the capital Damascus, witnessed a wave of displacement as military aircraft targeted the surrounding areas.
