Etihad Airways flights to and from Abu Dhabi have been disrupted this morning by the closure of Abu Dhabi International Airport due to severe fog.
Following the closure at 7.30am, the airline diverted 13 inbound flights to four other airports in the region – Dubai World Central, Sharjah, Al Ain and Bahrain.
Other inbound flights have been delayed, and departures from Abu Dhabi will be affected.
The airport reopened for operations at 8.50am.
