Avril Lavigne sold her Bel Air mansion Pop star Avril Lavigne has sold the marital home in Bel Air she shared with her ex-husband Deryck Whibley for a reported $8.5 million. The 12,184 square-foot mansion has eight bedroom

and ten bathrooms, and features a two-storey foyer, dual offices, a ten-car garage and a wine cellar. Avril, 27, and Deryck, 31, purchased the property in 2006, the year that they married.  Situated on the prestigious gated enclave of Bel Air Crest, the spectacular Mediterranean Estate is listed as offering “complete privacy, luxury, and comfort.” The master bedroom in the house has been made into almost a mini-household, featuring a kitchenette, fireplace, patio, custom walk-in closets and dual baths.
