Kuwait's Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abduallah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah is participating in the four-day 8th Bahrain International eGovernment Forum which kicked off on Sunday. His presence is in response to an official invitation by the Bahraini Minister of Transportation Kamal Bin Ahmed.
Sheikh Mohammad Al-Mubarak, who chairs Kuwait's Central Agency for Information Technology, said in remarks to KUNA that his country partakes in that event, represented by the Agency, and would present work papers.
Kuwait will take part in a workshop titled "stories of success" to present a draft on the national framework project for IT governance in Kuwait, and its effect in success of the e-government in the country.
This forum is of high importance as it witnesses attendance of a group of international specialists in information technology and e-government, and is great chance to exchange expertise, he said.
It will discuss the latest developments in the field in order to form better governmental strategies and work to implement them in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, he affirmed.
The Kuwaiti delegation is headed by Kuwait's Central Agency for information Director General Abdullateef Al-Suraie.
