Executive Director of Presentation Company for Media Services Amr Wahby revealed that there are desperate attempts by the company officials to buy the right to broadcast for the coming match between Egypt and Uganda in the framework of qualifying round for the coming World Cup scheduled to be held in Russia 2018.
Egypt’s national team is scheduled to play against the Ugandan national team on August 31 in the framework of the first leg of the qualifying round of FIFA World Cup, before their match in the second leg on September 5 in the third and fourth round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
He added, in a statement to “Egypt Today”, that there are great attempts from his company to buy the right to broadcast the match by the Ugandan Union.
He stressed that there are many officials from the company in Uganda currently to negotiate the right to broadcast their next match against the Egyptian team. He added, “"When we reach an agreement to broadcast the game, we will announce it officially."
The Egyptian national team occupies the leading position of Group E in the World Cup qualifiers with six points and Uganda are second with four points, while Ghana is the third with one point and Congo with no points.
