Abu Dhabi - Arab Today
Bloom Education, a Bloom Holding subsidiary, yesterday announced that it has signed an agreement with Bidayaat, a UAE-based childcare development company, to launch and operate 10 nurseries across the UAE over the next five years.
The agreement was signed by the CEO of Bloom Holding, Sameh Muhtadi, on behalf of Bloom Education, and Badr Al Olama, Chairman of Bidayaat.
Bloom Education has partnered with the renowned Brighton College in the UK, which this year achieved the best GCSE A-Level results ever recorded by a British co-educational school. Established under this partnership, Brighton College Abu Dhabi and Brighton College Al Ain have already set a benchmark in quality education in the UAE. Both schools have also achieved the coveted title of being the highest ranked ADEC-inspected schools in the emirate.
Sameh Muhtadi said, "It is an honour to collaborate with Bidayaat in this project that will contribute towards driving the investment and growth of Abu Dhabi's early childhood education sector. Bloom Education's strategy is to broaden the different segments within the country's private education sector, and nurseries definitely form the bedrock of this strategy. We are keen to provide the right foundation for children who will benefit from our education model and approach."
Bidayaat, which means "new beginnings" in Arabic, is the region's first private sector initiative, offering hands-on specialist management support to organisations, parents and pre-school educators engaged in the early education and holistic well-being of children. The company combines progressive curricula, age-appropriate learning methodologies, a skilled specialist teaching and management team, and actively encourages community engagement.
Badr Al Olama said, "Bidayaat is committed to building stronger communities by nurturing responsible global citizens, which is in line with the UAE Vision 2021, a national strategic initiative that aims to develop a cohesive, sustainable and prosperous society. We are confident this new partnership with Bloom Education will prove a win-win opportunity for all stakeholders and ultimately contribute to creating a more educated generation of students."
