Moroccan students will be treated the same as EU students
The Spanish government has retracted an educational ministry decree that increased registration fees for studying in academic institutions in the upcoming academic year for Moroccan and Andorran
students.
Spanish sources stated: "The Moroccan and Andorran students will be treated the same as Spanish and EU students. Fees for students of non-EU countries like China will be raised, with them having to pay a 100 percent duty fee for registration and higher study in Spanish universities. China itself forces the same policy on Spanish students in Chinese universities."
The Spanish education ministry has informed an independent governments' representative within an amendment to be applied the next academic year, attached with the convention signed years ago between Morocco and Spain on free education.
