As many as 106 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Mersa Matrouh Security chief Hesham Nasr Monday.

Of all the returnees, 43 Egyptians had illegally traveled to Libya, he noted.

In the meantime, departure procedures of 539 passengers, including 280 Egyptians, have been finalized
