H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has issued Emiri Decree No. 03 of 2017, pertaining to the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation.
The Emiri Decree was based on the recommendation of the foundation's Board of Trustees to issue a new Decree which sets the appropriate parameters to streamline its work performance in order to discharge its pioneering charitable role effectively.
The Decree, which includes 24 articles, states that the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation will continue its work in the emirate as a pioneering and popular charitable foundation in cooperation with other competent authorities in the country and in the emirate in this field.
The Decree also covers ways to achieve the foundation's objectives by conducting social studies and surveys from time to time to investigate eligible cases and coordinate with other competent government departments as well as receive proposals from UAE citizens and residents regarding the needs of the underprivileged.
The Decree also approves the authority of the members of the Board of Trustees and their meetings.
From the date of its issuance, the Decree will annul Emiri Decree No. 04 of 2000 regarding the establishment of the Foundation and its amendments in Emiri Decree No. 05 of 2003, No. 03 of 2008, and No. 08 of 2012.
This Emiri Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and other competent authorities will implement its provisions.
