Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdi Sanad Loza will convey a message from President Abdel Fattah el Sisi to South Sudan's President Salva Kiir during his current visit to Juba, according to a statement by Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
During the visit, Loza met with first vice president of South Sudan Taban Deng Gai, South Sudan Chief of General Staff Paul Malong and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Deng Alor, the statement said.
On the second day of the visit, Loza will have talks with Kiir, it added.
The visit aims at probing the latest developments in South Sudan and ways of boosting bilateral relations in all fields, according to the statement.
The Egyptian official arrived in Juba on Monday.
