The Ruler of the emirate of Fujairah has ordered the release of 53 inmates held in various reform and penal institutions in the emirate, on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The gesture is part His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah's keenness to grant pardoned prisoners a new lease of life, and ease the suffering of their families.
The former inmates are of different nationalities and had a proven track of good behaviour.
