His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hosted this evening an iftar banquet at Al-Rawdha Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The banquet was also attended by senior members of the Royal Family, Council of Representatives Speaker, Shura Council Chairman, scholars, ministers and invitees.
HM the King exchanged with them all congratulations on the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.
The attendees expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King, praying to Allah Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant health and happiness and protect Bahrain and its people.
HM the King addressed the event, reiterating congratulations on the last ten days of Ramadan, praying to the Almighty to put all on the path of success, bless Bahrain and its people with security with well-being and the Arab and Islamic nations with progress, prosperity, peace and stability.
HM the King thanked scholar Al-Sayyed Ali Al-Sharif Mohammed Al-Amin who delivered a lecture under the theme “The danger of extremism and terrorism”, commending religious personalities for their dedication to serving their countries and societies.
HM the King hailed the atmosphere of security which is reigning in the Kingdom of Bahrain, lauding cohesion binding all segments of the loyal people, regardless of their creeds, religious doctrines and sects.
HM the King stressed the crucial importance of security, urging all citizens and residents to always keep in mind this fundamental issue.
“Losing security means losing the five basic fundamentals enshrined in Islam: religion, life, mind, reputation and money”, said HM the King, praying to the Almighty to bless Bahrain and its people with lasting security and peace. HM the King and the attendees performed the Maghrib prayer.
Scholar Al-Sayyed Ali Al-Sharif Mohammed Al-Amin earlier delivered a lecture the theme “The danger of extremism and terrorism”, warning against the dangerous impact of these heinous scourges on societies and relations between countries and peoples.
