The minister extended deepest congratulations to HRH the Crown Prince for the Kingdom’s winning the regular membership at ILO’s governing body, noting that the achievement was the outcome of prestigious status enjoyed by Bahrain thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support and interest in optimising labour gains.
It is also in recognition of the tremendous efforts exerted by the government, under the leadership of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, to achieve national development goals in various fields, Humaidan said.
The minister asserted that HRH the Crown Prince’s tremendous efforts, forward-looking vision and constant follow-up on programmes to reform the labour market have contributed to the kingdom’s winning the ILO’s prestigious seat.
Humaidan affirmed that the Kingdom’s achievement reflect the International Community’s confidence in the advanced level reached by the labour market’s systems and regulations thanks to HRH the Crown Prince’s directives to make Bahraini workers the most favourable choice for the private sector through a string of ambitious programmes and plans implemented by the kingdom, citing the labour market reform project and the education and training development project.
