Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Nouhad Machnouk on Tuesday said Egyptians are capable of confronting terrorism.

Addressing a seminar in Beirut, Machnouk hailed the distinguished relations binding Egypt and Lebanon, affirming his country's support for Egypt in the face of terrorism and extremism.

The Egyptian leadership, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, has never hesitated to support Lebanon's stability and peace, he added.

Machnouk said Cairo spared no effort to restore stability in Lebanon in its recent crisis
