President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had a busy schedule last week that included a number of activities and meetings, most notably holding talks with visiting Somali counterpart Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo at Ittahidiya Palace.
President Sisi has praised distinguished relations between Egypt and Somalia.
Egypt is ready to provide Somalia with all possible support to help it build its state institutions, Sisi stressed.
The talks between the two presidents focused on how to boost bilateral relations in all fields, as well as the latest security developments in Somalia.
On Monday, president Sisi attended the Diamond Jubilee of the Central Auditing Organization (CAO) with the participation of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and a host of statesmen.
CAO chairman Hisham Badawi addressed the gathering and welcomed President Sisi.
He said CAO is one of the oldest regulatory and public finance control bodies at international and regional levels.
At the end of the ceremony, President Sisi honored a number of the organization employees.
