Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

President Sisi honored on Monday soldier Mohamed Ramadan and Corporal Mohamed Ahmed, the crew members of the tank that ran over a car of Takfiri elements, during the convocation of a symposium at the international conference center.

Meanwhile, the president bestowed the military star medal on non-commissioned officer Ahmed Idris for the military services he offered to the homeland during the October 1973 war.

President Sisi received on Tuesday German Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Gerd Müller.

Sisi lauded strong relations between Egypt and Germany and called for boosting such relations at the development and economic levels.

The president stressed the importance of making use of Germany's expertise in the fields of education and vocational and technical training, and praised the G20 plan launched by Germany to fight poverty in Africa.

Müller, for his part, expressed keenness on intensifying cooperation with Egypt in a manner that helps the latter make use of the development programs launched by the European Union and Germany.
