Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is concerned about the Egyptian-Japanese university and ordered expeditious completion of establishing its new headquarters.
President Sisi directed that the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (EJUST) should be a model to follow in the education and scientific research fields through broadening its educational spheres to include peace and political science studies, Abdel Ghaffar noted.
Addressing the EJUST’s 16th Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting held under his chairmanship, Abdel Ghaffar lauded the EJUST’s experiment in the fields of education and scientific research, saying that it crowns the unique relations binding Egypt and Japan.
He expressed hope for boosting spheres of cooperation with the African countries through increasing the number of African students studying in the university.
