Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

MENA chief editor Ali Hassan said on Tuesday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi goes to the United Nations carrying with him cares and concerns of the Arab nation, the Middle East and Africa.

In statements to ON Live TV channel, he added that the statement of president Sisi at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will be the core of interest of all participants.

The president will expound the Egyptian stance regarding international issues and its vision on means of fighting terrorism and the Egyptian efforts on this score, he added.

President Sisi will also take up means of ending conflicts in the Middle East and settling African issues along with the Egyptian stance rejecting any attempt to interfere in its internal affairs.

The president will also underline Egypt's rejection of terrorism and of countries supporting it, he added.

President Sisi also held several meetings with influential figures in the US where he explained the Egyptian political and economic developments and economic reform measures adopted by the Egyptian government.

Several world leaders have asked to hold bilateral talks with president Sisi on the sidelines of UNGA meetings, he said, adding that the talks are meant to take up issues of common concern atop of which comes fighting terrorism.

An anticipated meeting between president Sisi and US President Donald Trump will take up bilateral relations and an exchange of views regarding disputes in the Middle East and means of establishing peace in the region, he added.
