The National Council for Women on Saturday hailed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to honor the outgoing head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority (APA).

Sisi’s decision to decorate Judge Rashida Mohamed Anwar the order of the republic of the first class is an honor for all women in Egypt, a statement by APA read.

The council's chief Maya Morsy extended thanks to President Sisi for supporting women and opening door for them to take positions that have always been occupied by men.

Morsy congratulated Anwar for the honoring and thanked her over the successful leadership of the APA.
