Tunisian Health Minister Saleem Shaker died of heart attack on Sunday after participating in a marathon to spread awareness on breast cancer disease in Nabeul northeastern Tunisia.

Shaker was transferred to Grombalia hospital in Nabeul, then to the military hospital in the capital Tunis where the medical team attempted to save his life but to no avail.

The late Tunisian minister was suffering from a heart condition.
