Veteran Egyptian actress and singer Shadia will be laid to rest Wednesday after funeral prayers at el Sayyeda Nafissa Mosque, member of the actors' syndicate board Sameh el Sereiti said late Tuesday . 

Shadia died earlier in the day at the age of 86
