Renowned Egyptian actor and singer Shadia died on Tuesday at the age of 86 after a long battle with illness, member of the actors' syndicate board Sameh el Sereiti said late Tuesday.

Shadia, her real name is Fatima Ahmad Kamal, is an Egyptian actress and singer who was born in 1928. 

She is famous for her roles in light comedies and drama in the 1950s and 1960s
