The Saudi Health Ministry on Saturday announced one new case of the corona virus, known as the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and four death cases along with two cured.

The new cases bring to 1,244 the number of cases detected in Saudi Arabia since June 2012, a statement by the ministry said.

The statement added that 532 cases died and 668 cases were cured, while 41 cases are still receiving treatment along with seven other cases isolated in their homes
