The Saudi Health Ministry on Saturday said a new case was recorded of the corona virus, known as the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).

The new case bring to 1,250 the number of cases detected in Saudi Arabia since June 2012, a statement by the ministry said.

The statement added that 533 cases died and 678 cases were cured, while 39 cases are still receiving treatment.
