New Delhi - XINHUA
At least two cargo handlers have been hospitalized after a radioactive leak was detected in the cargo area of the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the Indian capital Friday.
Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the leak has been contained and urged people not to panic.
Local TV channels reported that the leak happened from a consignment of sodium iodine from Turkey in a very small portion of the cargo area.
An anti-sabotage team of the National Disaster Response Force and other emergency services officials have rushed to the spot, the reports said.
