The Saudi Health Ministry reported on Wednesday two new infections of the killer he Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus.

The number of infections with corona virus has risen to 1,051 people, including 464 deaths since the virus was detected in the kingdom in June of 2012, said the ministry in a statement.

The virus, better known as corona-virus, is new to humans.

The ministry said 581 cases have been discharged from hospitals, while six others are still under treatment.
