The Saudi Health Ministry on Saturday announced four new cases of the corona virus, known as the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), and one death.

The new cases bring to 1,209 the number of cases detected in Saudi Arabia since June 2012, a statement by the ministry said.

The statement added that 514 cases died and 614 cases were cured, while 67 cases are still receiving treatment along with 14 other cases isolated in their homes.
