Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab attended on Tuesday the signing ceremony of a deal between the Health Ministry and the "Long Live Egypt" Fund.
The deal, which was inked by the health and investment ministers, aims at supporting the national program to combat hepatitis C.
Cabinet Spokesman Hossam al Qawish said the program will provide wide-ranging infrastructures and systems to treat patients suffering from viral hepatitis.
He added that two medical units will be established in Luxor and Port Said governorates to cure 10,000 hepatitis patients.
