The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Beirut, has provided drugs and medical supplies to Dar Al-Shifa hospital in northern Lebanese city of Tripoli, to support Lebanese and Syrian patients.
An official source at the Khalifa Foundation said that the new medical assistance to Lebanon falls within the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Speaking to Emirates News Agency, WAM, the source said that the foundation had contributed to the establishment of a number of the hospital's sections, where thousands of the Lebanese and Syrians patients received treatment.
