Mohamed bin Zayed visits wounded servicemen

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today visited a number of the Armed Forces servicemen who were wounded while performing their national duty during the Arab Coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope’ in Yemen, at the Cleveland Clinic and Al Mafraq hospitals in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohamed was reassured by the attending doctors at the two hospitals about the health of the wounded soldiers. He was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mohamed praised the bravery of the Emirati servicemen in defending the rights of their brothers in Yemen and wished the wounded soldiers a speedy recovery.

"Our home is safe as long as we have fearless people like you. By the grace of Allah the Almighty and with the determination of our servicemen, along with their brothers in the Arab coalition, we will continue to prevail and rid Yemen of the rebellious militias," he said.

Sheikh Mohamed noted that he was not surprised by the resolute of the Emirate’s soldiers who were raised to be proud of their homeland.

The wounded soldiers renewed their loyalty to the UAE and to the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and vowed to re-join their brothers in supporting the people of Yemen as soon as they recover.
