Egypt opened Thursday a new hospital - Forest Park Hospital - in the Zambian capital, the Egyptian envoy to Zambia said.

Ragaei Nasr hailed the Egyptian-Zambian ties during the hospital's inauguration ceremony.

A large number of diplomats and Zambian officials attended the ceremony along with representatives from health organizations. 

The Zambian health minister hailed the new hospital as it is fitted out with top-notch medical equipment and covers several medical domains.
