Libyan Health Minister Reda al Okali said the World Health Organization (WHO) has allocated two million dollars to support health sector in Libya.
In statements published on the ministry’s official website on Saturday, the minister also lauded WHO Regional Director in Cairo Ala Alwan for his efforts to allocate the amount to the Libyan government.
Libya is divided between an Islamist-backed government in Tripoli and the internationally recognized government in Tobruk.
