Egyptian actress Laila Elwy revealed the reason behind her absence from participation in the latest drama season of Ramadan, saying that she apologized for not participating in a drama show because of her injury in arm. She stressed that it was difficult for her to participate in any drama shows due to her injury, saying that it was very difficult challenge, while she managed to overcome it.
She added, in an interview with “Egypt Today”, that she did not follow any drama shows during the latest season of drama of Ramadan, saying that she is keen to follow the different works after the season during their second presentation. She revealed that she received a number of offers to participate in cinema during the coming period, while she has not decided whether to participate in any of them or not. She expressed her love to the cinema, saying that she hopes that the cinema will restore its position as soon as possible.
She stressed her love to theatre, saying that the theatre has its own position for her, as it allows the actor directly contacts with the fans. She added that the actor could receive the fans’ reactions directly during performing his role. She expressed readiness to participate in any theatrical performance during the current period if she found the suitable scenario.
She spends her day normally, she visits her parents and friends, exercises, enjoys the sea, and she also designs her own clothes. She describes herself as a girl who wants to be in a relationship with a man who loves and respects her and her career, and if she got involved with someone, she will announce it to everyone.
She likes to record every beautiful moment of her life through photos, she also likes eastern foods and fish, and prefers blue, red brown and beige. She follows Arabic and international cinema and she likes to watch Johnny Depp, Alapachino, and Robin Williams, adding that, despite the diversity of dramas, the Arab drama will always be on the top regarding the quality and various themes. In the end, she wishes a lasting stability in the Arab World, and that good will prevail.
She explained that she wakes up early, saying that runs a running sport, then follows the news and reads the newspapers, then reviews her artwork, showing that she loves to travel from time to time to watch the world fashion.
