Egyptian high-profile actress Nelly said that she does not care to appear in media channel as long as she does not participate in any new works, saying that she aspires to keep the respect of her fans and not to make the audience get tired of her. She expressed her frustration over the death of her sister Fairouz, saying that it was a very difficult incident. She expressed her love to her, saying that she was the first person to push her for working in the artistic career.
She described Fawazir that was presented during Ramadan years ago as an artistic turning point due to the major role performed by Director Mohamed Fahmy. She added that she was aspiring to work with him in “Paper World” fawazir, while she was not able to do so because of his death. She added, “I remember that he was very tired while he was keen to spend the night in the studios to finish filming with the greatest musicians and writers.”
She added, “It was possible to sleep only two hours every two or three days but, despite fatigue, working with Fahmi Abdel Hamid was fun.” She revealed that she was intending to apologize for not participating in “Paper World” fawazir, while she insisted on achieving his last dream to restore the fawazir program.
She expressed her pleasure for the return of Egyptian actress Sherihan in the drama works, saying that she expresses her appreciation to the role performed by the Egyptian actress to enrich the drama world in Egypt.
Regarding her relation with Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez, she said, “He was a dear friend, and she enjoyed sitting with him for his culture, and that is what the artist needs to enrich the artistic life.” She expressed her appreciation to all artists who were keen to express their condolences for the death of her sister.
She added that the major challenges she faced during her life were the departure of her mother and sister, saying that the artists always face increasing challenges during their life. She stressed her keenness to return to the work, while she waits the suitable role, saying that she will not participate in any role that could undermine her history.
